Role of Road Safety Audits in Improving Traffic Safety - Online Workshop

Qatar Transportation and Traffic Safety Center (College of Engineering, Qatar University) in collaboration with the National Traffic Safety Committee of the State of Qatar, International Road Federation (IRF), World Conference on Transport Research Society (WCTRS), and Khatib & Alami Company are organizing a technical webinar entitled "Role of Road Safety Audits in Improving Traffic Safety". This technical webinar will be given by group of Internationally well-known experts from the International Road Federation (IRF) and the United Nations for Project Services (UNOPS). The training program comes as an implementation of one action of Qatar National Road Safety Strategy Action Plan that are related to Training in Road Safety.

Road Safety Audits (RSAs) are one of the main risk assessment tools that can be applied at successive stages of road planning, design, and operations. This online technical workshop aims at building the understanding of the importance and benefits of RSAs. Furthermore, it provides basic information on the scope and procedure of RSAs as well as the role and skills of the RSA team.
